Terms of use
The agreement between you and Signitri, Inc. covering your account, the documents you send, and what each side owes the other.

This page is a draft written to hold the shape of the final document. No lawyer has reviewed it, Signitri has not adopted it, and it creates no rights or obligations for you or for Signitri. 1. Who this agreement is between
This agreement is between you and Signitri, Inc., a company incorporated in the United States. [TO BE CONFIRMED: state of incorporation, company registration number and registered address.] Below, “Signitri” means that company and “you” means the person or organization holding the account.
If you accept these terms on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and “you” then means that organization.
Four other documents form part of this agreement: the privacy notice, the data processing addendum, the subprocessor list, and the electronic records and signature disclosure shown to the people you ask to sign.
2. What Signitri does
Signitri sends documents for signature and verifies the identity of every person who signs one. A completed document produces an evidence pack: the signed file, the full audit log, the verification result for each signer, and a SHA-256 hash you can check independently.
Identity verification is part of the service rather than an option inside it. There is no configuration in which a signer signs without being verified, and no plan on which it can be switched off.
3. Your account
You give accurate details when you open an account and keep them current. You are responsible for activity under your credentials and for the people you invite to your team. Seats are counted per sender. A signer never needs an account and is never charged.

4. What you may send
You may send a document only if you have the right to send it and the right to name the recipients you name. You may not use Signitri to obtain a signature by deception, to collect identity documents for a purpose you have not disclosed to the signer, or to send anything unlawful.
Because signers hand over a government photo ID and a photograph of their face, the bar here is higher than it would be for a plain document delivery service. Misusing that is the fastest way to lose an account.

5. Identity verification
Each signer photographs a government photo ID, then takes a selfie. Signitri reads the document, checks that a live person is present, matches the face against the photo on the ID, validates the ID number, and cross-checks the result through ThisIsMe. The outcome is a match, a manual review, or a rejection.
A verification result states what those checks returned. It is not a guarantee that a person is who they claim to be, and Signitri does not present it as one. What Signitri undertakes is narrower and more useful: that the checks were run, that the result was recorded accurately at the time, and that the record can be produced afterward.
6. Your documents and your data
Your documents remain yours. Signitri holds only the permission needed to run the service you asked for: storing the file, rendering it, placing fields, delivering it to the recipients you name, and sealing the result.
The signing backend never receives the document itself, which limits how far the file travels inside the system. [TO BE CONFIRMED: the precise technical description of that boundary, so this sentence matches the architecture exactly and can be defended.]

7. Evidence packs and retention
An evidence pack is sealed the moment the last signer signs, and it does not change afterward. Editing it would destroy the thing it exists to prove.

8. Fees
Prices are in US dollars. Personal is $18 per month, or $9 per month billed annually. Team is $25 per user per month, or $15 per user per month billed annually. Enterprise pricing is agreed separately.
You are charged per sender seat. You are never charged per signer and never charged per verification.

9. What Signitri is not
Signitri is not a law firm and gives no legal advice. Whether a particular document may be signed electronically, and whether a signature binds a particular person in a particular place, is a question for your own counsel. Some categories of document are excluded from electronic signature by law.
The evidence pack is evidence. It is not a legal opinion, and it is not a finding by a court or a regulator.
10. Availability and support

11. Suspension and ending the agreement
